Risky drinkers less likely to take good care of themselves and seek medical care

ScienceDaily (2010-03-22) -- A study of 7,884 men and women that found people who engage in frequent heavy drinking report significantly worse health-related practices, such as not wearing seat belts, unhealthy eating, and failing to visit their doctor regularly. The study also found women who drink heavily report worse general and mental health than men who drink at that same level.
